Woodpecker in the Adirondacks

I was inspired to sculpt this woodpecker because we have a few of them living nearby and I LOVE their colors!

I've had many people ask me if these wool sculptures are toys for children. I am sorry to say that these sculptures are not toys and are not in any way meant for children or pets. These sculptures are Collectible Sculptures that are meant for displaying only. They are delicate works of Art, due to the fact that the wool roving is just needled into itself using the needle felting technique with wool and a barbed needle. These must be kept away from children and pets! : )
